Judy Agar Ferrari Hans

Judy Agar Ferrari was born on March 26, 1923 in the Seychelles Islands.  She was the daughter of Mr.  & Mrs. Charles Ferrari.  She married Sorab Shroff in 1946, a Parsee from India. They had 10 children.

After the death of her husband, she married Noel Hans. In 1985 they moved to the United States to join her children and made Houston their home.

In her spare time Judy enjoyed to knit, crochet, and cross stitch which she shared with friends and family.  She was also a very good cook of her traditional Seychelles dishes.  She also loved to dance and has participated in several multi cultural dances at Ste. Bernadette performing the Seychelles sega.

She loved her family vacations to the Seychelles, and took the last one in 2012 at 89 years old.  She always made sure she was in control of all the plans.  She enjoyed spending time with her children especially the family gatherings whenever they would visit her from other States or overseas.

Judy will be remembered by her family and friends for her kindness and friendly nature. She was a very devout Catholic, and loved praying the rosary, even on her death bed she was still praying.

She is survived by her husband Noel, her ten children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by all.

  1. I send my condolences to you and your family. Grandmothers are so special. They leave such beautiful memories… the aroma coming from the kitchen as they cook, sitting on their lap when you can’t go to sleep at night, giving you a great big hug before you go out the door, and so many more.

My prayers are with you and your family during this time of sadness.

  7. Still vivid in my mind the times at Bel Air when mamam, Noel, Perviz and I will passionately indulge in our games of “ludo” and “lafouy” and wishing the nights will not come so soon to leave her company. The fondest of memories will linger on for years to come. We will all miss you mamam. Rest in peace.
