Joseph Joaquin Costello
Joseph Joaquin Costello, 54, resident of Houston, Texas passed from this life November 24, 2023. He was born in Galveston, Texas on March 24, 1969 to his loving mother, Isabel Ballesteros Costello. He spent his formative years in Galveston. He attended O’Connell High School and graduated in 1987. His passion for music led him to the formation of a band, showcasing his vocal skills as a lead singer. His good nature and his gift of connecting with everyone, led him to a career in sales management.
Joseph was a huge sports enthusiast, his favorite teams, Dallas Cowboys, Texas A & M, and the Houston Astros. He was a people person always ready to talk with any and everyone, especially his nieces and nephews whom he adored. He was always proud to share all their accomplishments.
Joseph was preceded in death by his mother Isabel Ballesteros Costello and sister, Paula Salazar.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved partner in life, Marsha St.Nicholasy; step children, Joshua St. Nicholasy, Daniel Jeansonne, Jr. grandson, Nicholas St. Nicholasy; sister, Teresa Costello; nieces and nephews, Michael Barboza, Lupe (Andrea) Barboza, Paul (Desilu) Skadowski, Jamie (Jared) Skadowski Haynes, and Sarah Salazar; numerous other great- nieces and nephews, family members; as well as colleagues and friends.
In his honor a memorial service will be held, Saturday, 12/30/2023 at 2:00pm in the Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson, Texas.
