Joseph Daniel Beagen
Joseph Daniel Beagen, 81, was born June 30, 1933, in Elizabeth, NJ and passed away in Houston, TX on October 29, 2014. He served in the Navy, lived in the Houston area for over 50 years, 38 of those in the Southbelt area, and retired after 42 years of service with AT&T. He was of catholic faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Owen and Marie Beagen and 6 of his 9 siblings.
Joseph leaves behind to cherish his memories, wife of 60 years, Ruth Ann Beagen; children: Linda Hudgens and husband Stephen, Bonnie Aronson, Debbie Lilley, Corinne Bernal, Laura Cole and husband Clint, Ruth Ann Pecot and partner Dianna Escamilla and Daniel Joseph Beagen and partner Raul Asoy; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; brothers, Peter and Michael and sister, Kate.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2014 from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral service to begin on Monday, November 3, 2014 at 12pm, with Bill Cole officiating, at Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland. Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery.

I can remember back when we were studing for a test we would have to put Friday’s on hold, in order for you and Raul could take mommie and daddy to dinner. I don’t remember Daniel, but Strange as it may seem, I do remember Owen and Marie and where they lived in Leonardo, NJ. My Dad was Owens Brother and made sure they had coupons to use during the 2nd World War. As I said, I don’t remember Daniel and have just recently been in touch with a lot of 2nd and 3rd Cousins in Texas and other states. May God greet you at your rest and bring you into heaven to be with Him!
