Jose Guadalupe Salcedo
Jose Guadalupe Salcedo passed away on July 5, 2018,in League City, Texas at the age of 86. Jose was born on April 29, 1932 in San Jose, Texas to Juan Salcedo Sr., and Manuela Cortez. Jose retired as an auto-mechanic where he resided in League City for forty-eight years. He was preceded in death by his parents Juan Salcedo, Sr. and Manuela Cortez and brother Jorge Salcedo. He is survived by his wife Eulalia Mares; his daughters Mary Cuevas of League City, TX, Sylvia Mata of Bayview, TX, and Frances and Eduardo (spouse) Garcia; his sons Bacilio Mata of Austin, TX, Armando Mata of Bayview, TX, Jorge and Jolynn (spouse) Mata of Maryland, Felipe and Sandy (spouse) Mata of League City, TX, Rolando Mata of Bayview, TX and Mario Salcedo of League City; his sisters Concepcion Mares of League City, TX, Lydia Garcia of California, Dolores and Gilberto (spouse) Martinez of Los Fresnos, TX, and sister-in-law Juanita Salcedo of Los Fresnos, TX; his brothers Juan and Eva (spouse) Salcedo of Pasadena, TX; and Jose is survived by 14 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. The pallbearers are Rolando Mata, Felipe Mata, Mario Salcedo, Rudy Salcedo, Ricardo Salcedo, and Gilbert Salcedo. There will be a visitation on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Crowder Funeral Home in League City, TX from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and a funeral service held at Crowder Funeral Home in League City on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 beginning at 10:00 am with an interment following at Forest Park East Cemetery in League City, TX.
Going to miss you Tio Pepe! I will treasure our last few days together as they were full of stories and laughter as always. you always greet everyone with a smile and depart with a smile and always the last word, “God Bless you” Love and miss you for ever! Love Rudy

My condolences to the family I’ve known pepe my whole life I he and my dad were cousins he was definitely a great man I would enjoy my visits with him when I would run into him all the time at Kroger. R.I.P. pepe hug my dad in heaven for me.
PePe’s journey has just begun….He’s resting from the sorrow and tears and is in a place of warmth and comfort where he no longer is in pain.
