Jose Cruz Trujillo, Jr.

Jose Cruz Trujillo, Jr., 53, passed away April 16, 2020 in Houston, TX.  Cruz was born in Galveston, TX on May 8, 1966 and of the Catholic Faith. He loved our mom, whom he called “mother”, so much that every time he would visit her, he would make it a point to bring her favorite dish from different restaurants.

Cruz joins his mother, Natalia Trujillo and sister, Maria De La Luz Trujillo.

Cruz leaves behind his daughter, Kalyn Trujillo; father, Deacon J. Cruz Trujillo, Sr.; sisters: Veronica Ramirez, husband Juvenal, Esther Razo, husband Andres, Alma Trujillo and Judy Bowden, husband Jim; brother, Juan Antonio Trujillo; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Cruz was also known as “Tus” to his family.  He always walked into any room or place with a huge smile, that was contagious.  He had a huge and forgiving heart and a unique laugh.  He was a giving and kind person to anyone he met, especially to his family.  He would never come to anyone’s house empty handed and always had treats for his nieces and nephews.  He always made sure to talk and get to know each and every one of his nieces and nephews.  We will never forget how playful he was around his family and always making sure we were all up to date with world events.  Cruz will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him!
