Jonathan Barton

Jonathan Craig Barton, 34, of Clear Lake City, Texas, peacefully passed away in his sleep Sunday morning, August 16, 2015. Jonathan was born September 8, 1980. Jonathan grew up in Clear Lake and quickly became known for his twinkling eyes, mischievous grin, infectious sense of humor and his generous spirit. He attended Utah Valley State College, majoring in General Business. Jonathan had a natural talent in finance and investments and had recently joined Fidelity Investments in The Woodlands as a Financial Specialist, after seven successful years working with the Vanguard Group in Philadelphia. Jonathan is survived by his four parents: Craig (father) and Brenda Barton of Philadelphia and Louise (mother) and Rick Swain of Clear Lake City. Jonathan was fortunate to have ten siblings who were amused (or tormented) by his lively wit and wicked sense of humor. Brothers: Jason (his twin) and Jeremy Barton, Harm Lubben, Brendan and Scott Swain and sisters Stacie and Katie Barton, Colleen and Andrea Swain, and Jennifer Sanders and his beloved canine companion, Rascal   He is survived by his grandparents Rodney and Carole Lubben and Catherine Jean Barton.

Jon was actively involved with special needs children and volunteered often at the ARC of Chester County.  In lieu of flowers,  donations can be made in memory of Jonathan  in honor of his sister, Katie Barton  at the ARC of Chester County  900 Lawrence Drive  West Chester, PA 19380
