  1. Words like smart, funny, caring, perceptive, successful only begin to capture the essence of Johanna Wycoff. I especially loved her positive attitude and high energy which was evident in everything she did. Her strong character melded by experiences like the war make her one of the last of what truly is “our finest generation” and she will be missed by all of us who had the honor and pleasure of knowing her.
    Rest in peace Johanna.

  5. To one of the most amazing people that I have been privileged to know. I am British and she Dutch and so our conversations about the war and our families actually lasted for hours on the telephone. I read her book and we could have had our own book club because we talked about all of the things that she had experienced during the war and I the experiences of my father during world war II. I will desperately miss my conversations with her and pray that Jennifer and the rest of her family find peace in her passing. Her beautiful personality will be remembered with love. My sincerest condolences to you all.
