Jodee Jones
Jodee Jones, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the age of 61. Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on August 9, 1963, Jodee graduated from Humble High School in 1981 and went on to receive her Bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. She went on to pursue a successful career in the industrial safety and supply industry. She remained with the same organization for 36 years where she most recently served as Rental Service and Turnaround Manager for Vallen. Jodee was a devoted Christian and woman of faith who committed her life to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Hawsey, her brother, Michael Hawsey, and her son, Carl Joseph Howton.
Jodee leaves behind a joyous life of love and laughter. She is survived by her loving husband, Warren Jones; her mother, Joyce “Cookie” Hawsey; her son, C.J. Howton and his wife Hanna; her step-son Jordan Jones, her step-daughter Rachel Abouras and husband Tamer Abouras; her beloved grandchildren, Dani and Sam; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends.
Jodee was a light to all who knew her. She lived each day with boundless energy and a quiet strength that drew others to her. Her love of family, particularly that of her beloved grandchildren was immeasurable. Jodee had a joyful, giving soul combined with a servant’s heart that she lovingly poured into everyone she knew. She was an animal lover who enjoyed her pet cats, Astros baseball, traveling, binge-watching TV, music, Hallmark Christmas movies, and relaxing outdoors with her family. Jodee was a gifted cook and her online ninja-like shopping skills were legendary.
Jodee was a woman of quiet but lasting faith who lived her final months and days in the knowledge that her place in Heaven was secure. She passed unexpectedly but peacefully from her home, entering her heavenly home with grace and void of all earthly pain and suffering. Where she was broken, she is whole again. Her light this day illuminates the place where we will one day be reunited. She will be deeply missed but her memory and the memories we have of her beautiful soul will carry on.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers who provided compassionate care and comfort during Jodee’s time.
A funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m. on January 31st, 2025 at Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland, Texas. 2422 Broadway St., Pearland, TX, 77581. A private viewing will start at 11:00 a.m. for family members only. A reception will be held following the public service.
Words can not express the emptiness our hearts are feeling. Jodee was a sweet dedicated person. The Rental Team will never be the same without her.

I worked with Jodee for over 18 years. She was a “wonderful” person to work with and was my sounding board when things got frustrating. She will be greatly missed and my heart breaks for the family. She was a “beautiful” soul
