Joaquin M. Victoria, Sr.
Joaquin M. Victoria, Sr., 77, of League City, Texas, passed away July 8, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family. Joaquin was born December 28, 1943 to Gregoria and Vallerio Victoria in Morelia, Mexico. He retired from BP/Marathon where he worked as an electrician and motor specialist for many years. Joaquin was a loyal member of St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Church in Texas City.
Joaquin was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Graciella Centeno and Josefina Ayala, and brother Ruben Victoria.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 46 years Elvia Victoria; daughter Beatriz Victoria; son Joaquin Victoria, Jr. and wife Hong; sister Lupe Leon and husband Angel; brothers Armando Victoria and wife Graciella, Wilfrido Victoria and wife Juana, and Felipe Victoria and wife Mary; grandchildren Diego Garza, Felipe Herrera III, and Olivia Victoria; and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and friends.
There will be a visitation in his honor Tuesday, July 13, 2021, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, with a rosary at 7:00 PM at Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson. A mass will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 14, 2021, St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal, Texas City, TX.
i worked with Vic at Amoco/BP in the shop. he had a good sense of humor was a good Man,he was witty.enjoyed working and knowing him. God bless
So very sad to have lost such a wonderful person. Worked with him for a few years and everyday was filled with laughter. Vic made going to work fun. A man who loved his family, life and had integrity in all he did. RIP Vic.
