Joan I will miss you but I know you are in a better place and also with Dick we have been neighbors for 57 years and that is not easy to forget it is not going to be the same with out you guys
Joan and I shared so many years working together at St. Paul’s and NATD and as friends. She was a part of most the key moments in my life in Houston and those of my family sharing our most exciting special moments in the Space Program.
One of her many skills was her excellent attention to detail which made much of what I was involved in so much better. I am grateful that she was a part of my life over my years in Houston.
Bo and I send our deepest sympathy to all of her family whom she loved so much and of whom she was so proud.
Dianne and Bo Bobko
Mrs. Joan you are truly missed and so many ways that my mom and family are so devastated. You watch me grow up into a young lady who always look forward seeing you every Wednesday with mom-Alicia. When mom told me the news I was speechless and saddened by all with you amd Mr. Eick. We came today 6-18-21 to pay our respects and was told it was last week. We cried in the car wanting to see you one last time and to realize we got the voicemail just this week passed. Mom and I were so heartbroken. The nice lady at the Catholic cemetery was able to help us locate your burial site. I Thank you and the family for always being there for my family and I. You both are wonderful people and I’m bless to have came across your path as we call life. Thank you fOr the wonderful memories. Sending my condolences to the family and everyone as well. On behalf of the Rodriguez Family-Juan Sr./Alicia/Juan Jr./Cristina/Belinda/Cristina and the my kids Briana, Hailey and Otilia Garcia. We love you so much.
