Jimmy Jack Cumberland
Jimmy Jack Cumberland, 76, a 6 year resident of Manvel formerly of Baytown, passed away August 31, 2016. Mr. Cumberland was born December 10, 1939 in Philadelphia, MS. He was of Baptist faith and was an employee for Amber Inc. as a Journeyman Electrician for over 20 years.
Mr. Cumberland is preceded in death by his parents, Odie “PAT” and Robbie Cumberland; brother, Billy Cumberland and sister, Rita Fay Blake.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years of marriage, Patricia Cumberland; daughters: Renee Locacius, husband, Don, Julie Laughlin, husband, Johnny, Lisa Pilgrim and Janet Cumberland; sons: Scott “SCOOT” Cumberland, wife, Shanna, Leslie Carter Jr., wife, Sonja and Jimmy Todd Thrash, wife, Melissa; 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; sister, Betty Burnham; brothers: Homer Cumberland, Charlie Cumberland, Prentice Cumberland, Eddie Cumberland and Bobby Cumberland.
A visitation will be from 5-8pm Friday, September 2, 2016 at Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland. There will be a chapel service Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 10am at Crowder Funeral Home followed by a graveside at 2pm at Guidry Cemetery in Batson, TX.
