  2. Jessica Drab was amazing! A steadfast friend who cherished her family and friends. Her stellar sense of humor and love of irony drew people to her.

Jessica’s many buddies found her to be a supporter who refused to waiver in her loyalty to others. She was honest and true, and she abhorred deceit.

She loved a challenge and met them all with grace. She prevailed! No surprise.

We now find ourselves attempting to weather the remaining challenge of life without Jessica. It’s a hard road to bear.

May God bless her beautiful daughters and family who dearly loved their stellar mother.

  3. We met in 7th grade and became fast friends. Jess, Jessie, what fun you were to be with. Your mom was so sweet and good to us, making cookies, making her own signature iced tea that was lemony and just right, driving us to the Vogue theater, picking us up at the Broadway shopping center, even driving us around with your brother’s surfboard in the back of her station wagon so we could “pretend” we were surfer girls. So many fun young teenage girl times, then on through high school, and on to working at San Diego Trust together across from Balboa Park. I loved being your friend always. I remember the first time I saw pictures of your girls, I was stunned to see how much they looked like the girl I knew in Junior High. We were so lucky to do the innocent, wonderful things we did, even going to see the Beatles at Dodger Stadium with Mandy and her wonderful grandfather. I love you, Jess, and I’m so lucky that you were my friend.

Dear Chelsea, Rachael, and family, I am so sorry for this devastating loss of such a vibrant, sparkling woman, mother, grandmother, friend. May you always have her within you guiding you throughout your life.

    Always in my heart,
