Jerome Thomas Muma (Jerry)
Jerome Thomas Muma (Jerry), 86, passed away on March 20, 2019. Jerry was born April 21, 1932 in Daggett, MI to James and Elizabeth Muma. Jerry served his country in the U.S Air force during the Korean War and was a member of The American Legion. Jerry is a 20-year resident of Friendswood, TX and was a top sales manager in the area for over 50 years, leading a record-breaking team for 17 years. As quoted by many salesmen, he literally changed their lives through his motivation and mentorship.
His sense of humor and positive, strong and loving spirit touched everyone in his life. He had deep passion for photography, gardening and his love for his family. With his strong and positive spirit, he fought small cell carcinoma for 7 months and passed peacefully in his own home surrounded by family.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents James and Elizabeth Muma; and brothers Harold Muma and James Muma.
Jerry is survived by his wife Anna Lou Muma; daughters Jerann Nichole Worth
(Charles Worth) and Jana Sheree Muma (Rob Presley); sons James Alan Muma, Jerry Alan Muma (Ruby Muma), Jay Alan Muma (Karen Muma), and Just Alan Muma; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sister Rosemary Janusz.
In lieu of flowers, we are requesting donations to the American Cancer Society.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 Broadway St. Pearland, TX 77581.
