Jennifer Robin Erhard Stinnett

Jennifer Robin Erhard Stinnett passed away October 24, 2023, in Houston, TX. She was born September 26, 1962, in San Diego, CA. She leaves behind her husband Cary Stinnett; son Cody Jack Stinnett; daughters Emily Rose Stinnett and Mikayla Mae Stinnett; parents John (Jack) and Betsy Erhard; sisters Heidi Erhard and Heather Erhard and her husband Andy; brother John Erhard and his wife Kacee; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is known as Robin to everyone that knew her up to college and Jennifer to everyone she met after that.

Her family moved from California to Haworth, NJ while Robin was very young. She was a happy baby, always smiling, and exploring in her small world. As she grew older, she enjoyed being a Brownie, then a Girl Scout. Swimming was her love, and she was on a swim team, the Red Wave, holding a record in several strokes in the county. She was a prankster and loved Halloween, April Fool’s Day, and Christmas.

From a young age, Robin was a hard worker. She had a strong work ethic and always had a job. One of her jobs was caring for patients in a nursing home. When her grandmother, Armen, got older and was living in a residence, she would frequently go to visit. When an older cousin, Arax, needed to move out of a family home, she helped with that difficult process.

Jennifer attended Cobleskill College in New York, where she continued to swim competitively, and earned an associate degree in Food Service Administration. After graduation, she held various titles including concierge, property manager, and office manager. She met her husband in 1989 while working as the office manager for Belcher Oil New York. She joined him after he transferred to Long Beach, CA and they married on April 6, 1991.

In 1994, after becoming familiar with California earthquakes, wildfires, and home prices, the couple decided Pearland, TX would be a great place to start a family. Together they brought three beautiful children into the world. Jennifer stayed involved in their children’s lives by participating in a moms group, church activities, PTA, Scouts, and teaching in her children’s schools. Somehow amongst all that she maintained a Tupperware business. She was known for her loving notes of encouragement which were often found in the lunches she prepared for her husband and children as well as any packed suitcase.

Jennifer loved life and was the life of the party. She was very social and always happy to see you and talk to you. She stayed fit by regularly attending the gym and taking daily walks with her prized dogs. She grew deep roots in the community and knew people everywhere she went.

Jennifer was a very giving person, of herself and her time. She gave life to many unknown people through her regular donations of blood and platelets that totaled in the gallons. She was always ready to lend a hand when needed at church, in the community, or painting a friend’s house. She served food to the homeless on Thanksgiving. The family attended the First United Methodist Church in Pearland where, of course, she was an active volunteer.

Jennifer was also creative. She worked on scrap booking, arts and crafts, made corkboards, and numerous other projects. She loved painting and painted the children’s bedroom ceilings with blue skies and clouds. As a young adult she took up belly dancing. She was a terrific dancer and looked incredible in her costumes. She performed with her troupe at various places that included senior centers.

Jennifer Robin, we mourn the loss of your smile, your wit, your energy, your laugh, your encouragement, your strength, your love, and your presence. Our comfort comes in knowing you are at peace.

Jennifer coined many sayings. ‘Luv ya see ya bye’ is a fan favorite.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 2314 N. Grand Blvd Pearland, TX 77581. Followed by a reception after the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Bluefield Project to Cure Frontotemporal Dementia.

  2. I am heartsick over this loss, but I know Robin is with the angels. I was a high-school friend and cannot tell you how much we laughed together. Along with our mutual friend Wendie (also passed too young) we were terrible in class together as we could not make eye-contact without laughing out loud. I recently found a letter she’d written me when she first married and she seemed so happy!! The contents of this obituary exemplifies everything Robin was. She is now closer to all of us – more than ever. She will remain in my daily prayers as will her family. A light has left the world but we are all the better for basking in its glow. God bless.

      • Cary, Your mom was loved by so many. Coming from the tight knit community in Northern Valley, a place that felt small enough that everyone knew everyone, she had 350+ friends just in her high school class. We mourn her loss and pray for your family. I hope that the link below works so that you can see how loved she was.

  4. To Cary and all the family, I am so sorry for your loss. I pray that God would give you the peace that passes all understanding. The Bible says, To Be Absent From The Body
Is To Be Present With The Lord! It sounds like she made it to the goal that we all strive for! I didn’t know Jennifer but she sounds like a wonderful woman that lived a full life, a very giving person. I’m sure God met her at Heavens Gate greeting her with a warm Welcome, Saying Welcome Thy Good and Faithful Servant and then……The party started! My prayers are with all of you, it sounds like there are a lot of you. Be Strong and know she is with her Creator, The Great I Am and the Author and Finisher of her Faith!
May God Bless each and everyone of you while you mourn your loss and warm your hearts with great memories!

  8. Jennifer made me want to be a better person through just being who she is. She was my best friend, and I miss her every day. Beautifully written. Jenn was simply fantastic.

  9. “As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart” Proverbs 27:19.
Robin will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her. She seemed to light up a room, having a sensational sense of humor. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.

  10. Cary and Emily, Cody and Mikayla
‘In the sure and certain knowledge ‘that Robin will now rest in peace, only then can we find comfort in this sad loss.

  13. I knew this lovely gal as Robin, who was the beautiful gal, one of four wonderful neighbors up the street from my home in Haworth, during the 70’s and 80s. i would feed Robin’s family cat, as white beauty named Princess, and saw Robin from time to time.
Robin was so beautiful and vibrant, and kind, like her sisters I knew, too.
I am so sorry the world lost an angel, but i know she lives on in her children.
Rest in Peace, sweet girl. I will be thinking of your whole family as the holidays approach. Love from my family to yours.
