Janet Skelton, of Kemah, Texas, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022 in Webster, Texas at the age of 78. She was born on March 5, 1944 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Elbert and Sybil Griffin. Janet was a talented artist, a loving wife, and a great friend to many. She loved nothing more than spending time with her husband at their cabin in Arkansas. Janet was preceded in death by her husband Jack, her parents, and her brother Randy Griffin. She is survived by her niece Cassie Stewart of Kilgore, Texas, her best friend from the age of 2 Marty Blevins, dear friends John and Ruth Lane, Barbara Anderson, Linda Worthington and Lorena Garcia. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 2-5:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main, League City, Texas 77573. Interment at Houston National Cemetery will be held at a later date.
