Jane was my dear friend for 77 years. We attended Central School and Lake Charles High School and were always in the same classes. We married 5 months apart snd gave birth to our children 5 months apart. We went to Campfire Girls’ summer camp, stayed up all night at slumber parties, took tennis lessons, baby sat with Ron and Don, shared secrets, worked on homework together, road to school in her Dad’s fishing boat when our Principal would not close school during a major flood. We grew up together—3 blocks from each other, and we always had fun. Jane was kind, thoughtful, sharing, and caring. I will miss as her. God’s blessings.

Jane was the best Cousin anyone could possibly have! Always had a smile on her face & was full of laughter, kindness & compassion for her immediate family & us as relatives. We could go extended periods without seeing each other but when we did, it was like we had been together only yesterday. Being around her for just a short period of time always made your day better, & that’s a quality each of us could use more of. Jane’s greatest legacy is that her surviving family & friends benefitted from her life style & are themselves continuing to live as she did. We love you, Jane. Peace be with you & family.

Tracy and family,
How very sad to lose you mom. If you are a reflection of her, then she was a sweet and loving lady. You and your family were a pleasure to know and my heart grieves for your great loss. As you support each other at this time, know that others care.
