Jameson Verley Lee
Jameson Verley Lee, 35, of La Marque, TX passed away August 23, 2018 in Waco, TX. Jameson was born August 01, 1983 in Hope, AR. He was a lifelong resident of La Marque, TX and a Class of 2001 graduate of La Marque High School. He was a professional driver with business partner Dillon Harvey. Jameson was known for his infectious laugh, a quick albeit sometimes twisted sense of humor, and an undeniable joy in his eyes and smile. He was always up for a debate but tempered it with a compassionate heart that looked for balance, most days… He was able to spend the last week of his life here sharing with his family and friends about his future plans driving, living, hobbies, and where he stood with his Creator. His last word was “Mom” and she was there to share his last breath with him as she did his first. Jameson lived every moment fully till that last breath and looked forward to coming home. Heaven gains for an eternity the joy we only had for a moment, but what a fun moment it was…
Jameson is survived by his mother Bonita Cox and husband Donnie; sister Michele Vargas and nephew Cruz Martinez, brother Jason “Bear” Wells and fiancée Shae Bagot, children Alexis Luther and Stephen Casteel, Chanelle Smith, Donna Smith and Rebecca “Becky” Smith; grandchildren Cadence Casteel and Jace Sebesta, brother-in-law Frank Martinez, grandmother Anne Cox and his companion and friend Kingpin (dog). He is also survived by his father David Lee and wife Lynn and siblings Brandy Morrison Cooksey, Christopher Lee, and Joshua Lee. He also leaves behind many loving cousins, friends, and family.
There will be a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday September 01, 2018 at Crowder Funeral Home 2422 East Broadway St. Pearland, TX 77581 with Pastor Ron Hindt of Calvary Chapel Houston officiating.
