James Russell Nalepa
James Russell Nalepa, of League City, Texas passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the age of 71. He was born on April 11, 1945 in Torrance, California. James loved Coaching youth athletics. He was a devoted Coach who enjoyed working with the kids as well as teaching the game. He is preceded in death by his parents Mitchell and Gloria, and his son James Russell “Rusty” Nalepa. He is survived by his former spouse and friend Cheryl Nalepa Simmons, son Marcus Nalepa and wife Nicole, daughter Lauren Nalepa, sister Glory Crafts and husband West, brothers Mike Nalepa and wife Diane, Mickey Nalepa and wife Sue, grandchildren Kellen Nalepa and Kelsey Nalepa. He was Poppa Jim to his grandkids and he loved his family, friends and fishing often. The family will receive friends on Tuesday August 23, 2016 at 6:00pm at the Crowder Funeral home in League City, Texas 77573. The memorial service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the Crowder Funeral Home in League City with Deacon Sam Dell’Olio officiating. In lieu of flowers, you may send memorials to the Bay Area S.P.C.A.
