Boy could Mr. Kubin tell a story. I LOVED it when he came by the office to take care of business because he always shared his stories with me….from growing up as a young boy to taking care of his own money in the market. I will forever cherish the memories I have of this dear man.
Jim I’m sorry you’ve gone. I’ll miss you wisdom on so many levels, and your strong sense of attention to detail. It has been nice knowing you. I remember fondly the many plays and dinners Mel and I attended together with you and Jean.
My dad’s only brother Jim was a gentle, soft spoken, kind and dear man. Although we didn’t see each other much because of distance between Texas and Chicago, it was always a pleasure to see him and his family during visits to Chicago. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and I am sad to know of his passing. God Bless You Uncle Jim, I love you!

Mr Kubin was always kind to Eddie and I. He always said hello and he was a story teller as Karen Heinrich mentioned. Anyone could tell talking to him that he was an intelligent man. Rest In Peace Mr Kubin and tell some stories in Heaven. God bless his entire family. Our thoughts and Prayers are with you all.
I remember all the fun times at the beach house, Birthday parties and New Years parties. Mr Kubin was always a great person to be around. Had great stories and always upbeat and fun to be around. Russell and I are very sorry for your loss.
