James D. White, Jr, 88, of Dickinson, Texas passed away January 20, 2014, at his home. He was born June 11, 1925 to James Dee, Sr., and Iona Mills in Drumright, Oklahoma. He graduated from Dickinson High School and served his country in the U.S. Navy. James owned and operated a sand pit. He was preceded in death by his parents.

James is survived by his loving wife, Joyce White, his daughter, Phyllis Cotter and her husband, Mike; and son James White III.
