James Clifford (JC) Stanley, 89, passed away Wednesday August 18, 2021 at his residents. JC was born November 5, 1931 in Jacksonville, Texas to Newell and Myrtle Stanley.
He was a dedicated husband and father but was also known as an excellent carpenter who builds many homes in this and surrounding areas. He was a lifelong member of the Carpenters Local 973 and dedicated member of Temple Baptist Church.
JC was preceded in death by his loving wife of 71 years, Mary Nell Stanley, his son Tommy Stanley, his grandson Robert Lee James, his brother Noel Stanley, and sister Colleen Martin as well as his parents.
He is survived by his daughter, Debora and son-in-law Mike Margison; grand-daughter, Renee and her husband Thomas Garland, grandson JW Stanley; great- granddaughters Tori, Makenzie, & Allie and great-great grandsons Declan, and Weston as well as numerous other family and friends.
A visitation will be held at Monday, August 23, 2021 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at the James Crowder Funeral Home, La Marque. The service will follow at 7:00pm with Pastor Rudy Rios officiating. A graveside service will be at 3:00pm on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Corinth Cemetery in Timpson, Texas.
