Jahangir (John/Ahmed) Kalantar
Jahangir (John/Ahmed) Kalantar, 65, a resident of Houston, TX for 37 years passed away peacefully on December 4, 2019. Jahangir was born in Iran on March 21, 1954. He joins his parents, Naser and Shahzadeh Kalantar.
Jahangir leaves behind his wife of 33 years, Thelma Kalantar; daughter, Karla Kalantar; sons: Daniel Kalantar, fiancée JoAnn Coronado, and Arian Kalantar; sisters: Nahid Kalantar (resides in Iran), Kobi Kalantar, husband Daruosh (reside in San Antonio), Maryam Kalantar (resides in Iran), Mozhdeh Kalantar, husband Sasan (reside in Italy), Fariba Kalantar (resides in Canada), and Maria Kalantar, husband Hassan (reside in Iran); brother, Mahmoud Kalantar, wife Linda (reside in Richmond, TX); his mother-in-law Dolores S. Perez; brother-in-laws Alberto Perez, wife Lillian, Guillermo Perez, wife Sandra, and sister-in-laws Norma Castillo, Edna Perez Garza, husband Juan, whom reside in Laredo, TX, and brother-in-law Joel Perez from San Antonio; and numerous nieces and nephews whom reside all over the world.
Jahangir was a loving devoted husband and father, an avid fisherman, and an animal lover. He enjoyed going fishing with his family and brother. He showed such kindness in his lifetime towards people and animals. He was a true animal lover and cared for his two dogs; Sleepy and Messi, and four cats; Donovan, Mia, Abby, and Sasha. Jahangir enjoyed watching soccer with family and pets. His other enjoyments included barbecuing, gardening, and landscaping around the house. He was also a problem-solver who often took on difficult projects around the house. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Jahangir touched are invited to the Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 E. Broadway St. Pearland, TX 77581, on Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be a eulogy at 2:00 p.m.

I am so sorry for the demise of your beloved, Thelma, Karla and your sons. May he rest easy in Our Creator’s arms.
Mr. Kalantar is such a wonderful, a thoughful and a very caring person whom, I will also missed. I have met Mr. Kalantar when we came on our first year here in Kuwait. Our deepest symapthy goes to Thelma, Karla, Danny and Arian. You will always be in our prayers. May God continue to give you courage and strength during this difficult time.
