Dear Family,
Jacob and I were radiology residents together at UTMB. All of the attendings wanted to work with Jacob. Not only was he an exceptional radiologist, but he was also hysterically funny. Whenever I saw Jacob walking with various people in the hallway, they always had a smile on their face or were laughing out loud. That is what I will remember most about him: the laughter and his jokes or “quips” as he called them. I am in shock and disbelief. Everybody loved Jacob and everyone was his friend. He was one of a kind who will be tremendously missed by all who knew him.
Thank u Laju for sharing your thoughts on Jacob. We will miss him dearly.
