Jack Freddric Kelley

Jack Freddric Kelley, 92, of Centerville TX passed away on August 20th, 2024. He was born September 4th 1931 to Will and Lottie Kelley. Jack worked as a diesel mechanic, spent many years at Falstaff brewery, was a plant operator, a Hamm radio operator for 50 years and was a member of the Cowboy Church of Leon County. Honorably served his country in the United States Navy as an aviation machinist mate 3rd class and a veteran of WWII. He was a proud member with American Legion Lodge 335, Centerville, TX. Jack is preceded in death by his parents Will and Lottie Kelley, son Reggie Kelley and wife Barbara Jean of 50 plus years.

Jack is survived by his wife of 18 years Patricia Kelley; children Tanya Holley, Daniel Kelly and Patrick & Allison Kelly; Grandchildren Reggie, Dawn, Stephen, Kalan, Danielle, Layton, Braden, Taylor, Elliot and Preslie; and a great-granddaughter Madison.

There will be a Graveside service at 10:00 a.m. on Monday August 26th, 2024 at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock, TX with Rev. Kevin Wiltshire of Northside Baptist Church will officiate at the graveside service.

  1. So much more than this brief obit can say about him. He used to talk to NASA astronauts and he spoke by radio to the former
    King of Jordan, who was succeeded by his son. Curly taught me to see the United States and did so much for his grandkids. I was raised by Meme and Curly and two finer people have not walked this earth. Also, his great granddaughter’s name
    Is Maddison, it would be nice to get that fixed.
