Hilaria G. Torres
Hilaria G. Torres, 98, a resident of League City passed from this life on Saturday, October 7, 2023. She was born on January 13, 1925 in Los Fresnos, Texas to parents, Domingo Gonzales and Francisca Martinez.
Hilaria met and married the love of her life, Juan Torres and together they raised three daughters and two sons. She was a loving wife and mother.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Torres; son, Raul Torres; sister, Gomecinda Gonzales and brothers, Ascension Gonzales, Simon Gonzales and Isabel Gonzales.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughters, Elida Huitrado, Gloria Gutierrez (Jesus) and Susana Torres Mares; son, Ruben Torres (Rachel); twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
In her honor, there will be a visitation on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson with a rosary to follow at 7:00pm. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 10:30am at Shrine of the True Cross Catholic Church in Dickinson. Committal will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Dickinson.
Serving as pallbearers are Daniel Huitrado, Chris Huitrado, Jack Walker Hoopes, Santos Mares, Jr., Michael Ochoa and Stevan Torres.
My condolences to all the family. Susie and Santos, thank you for allowing me the pleasure to have embraced this woman at least once in this lifetime.

I came across this obituary looking for relatives of my late father, Simon Gonzalez, and saw that your mother/grandmother is his sister.
