Herbert Roy Bridges passed away suddenly Wednesday morning, June 28, 2017. He was a 3^rd or 4^th generation Texan born in Gilmer, Texas and raised in his early years in Winnsboro, Texas. His family moved to the Houston area in the late 1940s in what used to be Manchester, Texas. He leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Jo Bridges, their son, Terry Bridges and his wife Robyn, grandchildren, Terry Jr. (T.J.) and his wife Elizabeth, Amber, Chris and Tiffany and great-grandchildren, Alyza and Emily. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and was a good friend to so many. We will miss him more than words can express.

A memorial service will be held at the Crowder Funeral Home Webster/Clear Lake location, Saturday July 1 at 1pm with a reception to be held afterward at the home of Terry and Robyn Bridges in Pearland.
