Henry Dell Parson, Sr.

Henry Dell Parson, Sr., 89, of Pearland, TX passed away at his home on July 04, 2024.  He was born on January 06, 1935 in Seven Points, TX to Ellis and Celia Parson. Mr. Parson graduated from Hitchcock High School in 1953 and attended Texas A&M University in 1954.  Mr. Parson served in the United States Navy and then worked for Monsanto Chemical Company with 28 years of service, retiring at the age of 50.  He has been a resident of Pearland for 22 years and formerly of Dickinson, TX.  Henry loved to play golf and tennis and was an avid book reader and collector of antique glass and Mickey Mouse memorabilia. He was a believer in the Word of God and studied the bible relentlessly.

Mr. Parson is preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Celia Parson; wife, Nita Parson; daughter, Karen K. Parson; brothers, Robert Parson and James Parson.

Henry is survived by his wife of 17 years, Judy Parson; son, Henry Parson, Jr. and wife Sheila; daughter Donna L. Stansfield; step daughter, Rhonda Alexander; step son, Ronald Moro and wife Deb; grandchildren, Blake Parson and wife Cassie; Bryan Parson and wife Roxanne; Tyler Parson and wife Michaela; Randall Stansfield and wife Jamie; Rachel Wheeler; Sydni Jones and husband P.J.; Chynna Smith;  Alex King and husband T.J.; Elizabeth Moro and husband Clifford; and seventeen great grandchildren.

There will be a visitation at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 E. Broadway St. Pearland, TX 77581 with a service to begin at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, TX.

Pallbearers serving will be Blake Parson, Bryan Parson, Randall Stansfield, Connor Parson, Jim Parson and Jim McShan.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Redeemer Church, 18218 Hwy 6 Manvel, TX 77578.
