Harry Waycasy

Harry Waycasy, 64, of Pearland, Texas, passed away on September 9, 2024. Harry was born on January 14th, 1960 in Houston, Texas, to Harry and Wanda Waycasy. Harry has been a resident of Pearland for over 28 years. One of Harry’s most commendable accomplishments was his 40 years of service with Centerpoint Energy. Harry married Pamela in 1989 and was a dedicated husband for 35 years. They had and raised two daughters together, Amber Price and Emily Romo. Harry enjoyed the simple things in life. He had a passion for barbecuing, a compassionate heart for his pets, and a deep love for his family. He was an avid Houston sports fan; he always had a Texans or Astros game playing and was eager to tell you about their most recent wins. Harry spent a great portion of his retirement making memories with his wife, daughters, and three beloved grandchildren. Although a man of few words at times, Harry always knew how to make you feel loved. Mr. Waycasy is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Wanda Waycasy, his father-in-law James Kolb, and his dog, Coach, whom he loved dearly. Harry is survived by his wife, Pamela; daughters Amber Price and husband Jerry, and Emily Romo and her husband Reid; sisters Kathy Dunn, Barbara Gibson and husband Mike, and Carol Cantu; brother Robert Waycasy; grandchildren River Romo, Ryatt Romo, and Brady Price; mother-in-law LaVerne Kolb; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dog, Harper.

There will be a funeral service in memory of Harry at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 17th, 2024, in the chapel of Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 E. Broadway St. Pearland, Texas 77581. Burial will follow at Confederate Cemetery, 1636 Dickinson Rd Alvin, Texas 77511.

For those wishing to send flowers of remembrance to the family, they will be accepted at Crowder Funeral Home.
