I am so sorry for your loss she was an amazing person. I am so thankful I had the pleasure to meet her. I will miss my Sunday visits with my friend. Praying for the family in their time of need. Rest in peace my friend.

God saw you were getting tired, And a cure was not to be,
So he put his arms around you, And whispered, “Come to Me.”
With tearful eyes we watched you, And saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly, We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
I will always treasure the good memories of Gerry. I have know her since I was a child and she would cut my hair on her back porch steps! She could cut that Dorothy Hamill haircut like the pro she was! She drove us to school in bad weather or if Deana and I were running late,, as usual, as my mom didn’t drive. So greatful she only lived a couple of blocks from out house and her daughter Deana and I have been friends since first grade. Actually our moms were in the same maternity ward together as we were born a day apart and we didn’t know they lived so close! Fun times getting Gerry to dance a crazy dance with all of us one night kicking our heels up not too long ago. Will miss the good times and remember those fond memories. Prayers to Deana and Randy and their family.
