Dear Alice, Elizabeth and Trey,
May the memories of your husband and father stay with you and keep you in the days ahead. Gerald and I were friends in the 60s and I regret we never kept in touch over the years. He was an awesome person and always made me feel special as he did with everyone he met.

To the Toney family – (1st message sent Wed. evening; doesn’t show that it was received) Please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of your precious loved one. Gerald was a childhood friend from Kilgore, all the way back in grade school; he was as close as a brother to me, my brother, Bud, & sister, Glenda. He lived near us on the old oil lease out of town & was at our house more than his in those days. We were in the band together all thru school & graduated together from Kilgore in 1958. We all went our separate directions & I didn’t see Gerald again until a band reunion about 6 years ago & it was a great reunion!! Bud & I have tried since then to find you after you moved & we’re so sorry we weren’t successful. Please know you are in our thoughts & prayers. May God bring you comfort & peace. Annie Ruth (Gibson) & Alvin Zuehlke
