For 47 years George was considered by many as the “greatest mechanic in the world” and for the past 30 years he had the honor to Judge the Keels & Wheels Car Show. He was a member of numerous car clubs throughout the country, and earned respect for not only his superior knowledge, but more importantly his honesty and integrity. George was a devoted husband of 20 years, a father, a grandfather, a great-grandfather and a cherished friend to many. For 19 years he was a member and faithfully served at Island Church, Galveston, Tx.

His love for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, sustained him daily in his everyday life. We can rest assured, in full confidence, that George is rejoicing with The King of Kings. He is not “lost” to us, for we know where he is, he has just changed locations to his ultimate destination.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, and his beloved dog, Bentley.
