Gary Forsythe
Gary Forsythe, 69, a resident of Dickinson, Texas, passed away on February 16, 2025. He was born in Houston, Texas on May 10, 1955, to parents, Warren J. Forsythe and Grace May (Tobias) Forsythe.
Gary was a plumbing foreman on large construction projects for over 40 years and was known to help friends and neighbors with their plumbing issues. He loved fishing, football, soccer, and baseball. He often volunteered at local community theatres and was known (and liked) by the patrons for his sense of humor and generous wine pours.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Alan Forsythe; and his beloved dog, Miss Patton.
He leaves behind to treasure his memory, his loving wife and companion of thirty-one years, Annette Forsythe; sons, Christopher Forsythe and Jason Byrd (Lacey); Brandon Allen (who was like a son to him); daughter-in-law, Laura Forsythe; and grandchildren, Natalie Forsythe, Liliana Forsythe, Jace Forsythe, Joleen Byrd, Jerren Byrd and Jemma Byrd; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
His friends and grandchildren referred to him as Chief, Mr. Gary, PahPah, Grandpa Gary, and Chopped Liver. He wants his sons and grandchildren to know he is very proud of them all and loves them deeply.
The celebration of his life will held on his 70th birthday, May 10, 2025 at Standing Ovation Theatre, Webster, Texas. The time and additional details will be announced at a later date.
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Mark and Carol Rasco

Thinking of you as you celebrate Gary’s beautiful life. He will live on in your heart ❤️
I am so sorry praying for you all
I am so sorry Annette for your loss. I pray that God goes before you and gives you comfort in the days ahead and peace throughout this tough time. I have thought about you many times through the years and maybe one of these days we can get together. You and Terry Corky were like cousins to me when we were growing up . I actually thought we were for a long time. Again I am so sorry. Love your long long time friend. Linda
