Freida Moore Chandler
Freida Moore Chandler, 77, of Seabrook Texas passed away on November 9th, 2024. She was born July 6th 1947 to Minnie Jo Howie and Robert Cenus Moore in Ridgley Tennessee. Freida worked at Deer Park ISD as the data processing manager until she retired in 2001. While living in Deer Park, Texas she was an active member of Central Baptist Church until moving to Seabrook, Texas where she became an active member of Living Word Church. She served countless hours to both of her church homes. She will be dearly missed by her sorority sisters at Alpha Chi Lambda where she was a member for 34 years. She loved more than anything spending time with her family.
Freida is preceded in death by her father, Robert Cenus Moore; brother, John Moore and sister, Joanne Moore.
She is survived by her mother Minnie Jo West; husband of 58 years Mike Chandler; son Bruce Chandler and his wife, Wendy; daughter Kelly Crocker and her husband, Brad; 9 grandchildren: Morgan Wooten and her husband Tyler, Cole Chandler, Sophie and Ella Shaw, Chandler, Brooke and Aden Elliott, Ethan and Landon Crocker , and 3 1/2 great grandchildren : Alden, Aubrey, Estalee and one who is on the way.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Living Word Church in Seabrook Texas.
A Celebration of Life for Freida will be held at 1pm on Saturday November 23, 2024 at Living Word Church, 1111 Kirby Drive Seabrook, Texas 77586. At the families request for honoring Freida’s favorite color they would like for everyone who attends her celebration to wear her favorite color Yellow.
