Fredna “Freddie” Mae Dean, 88 of Texas City passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 at her residence. She was born February 22, 1926 to James and Nera Harrison in Red Oak, Texas.
Freddie moved from the Waxahachie area to Texas City and has been here for over 67 years. She worked at Texas Supermarket and Food Giant for over 30 years. She was a member of the Rebecca’s Lodge 15 of Texas City.
Freddie is preceded in death by her parents; siblings and grandson J.C. Dean; she is survived by her husband C. B. Dean; daughter Deborah Northrup (James); sons Bruce Dean (Peggy), Larry Dean (Diane) and Terry Dean; four grandchildren Brian Dean, Michael Dean, Austin Noe and Shelly Dean and five great grandchildren; Bradley Dean, Alexandria Dean, Victoria Dean, Savannah Dean and Aaron Dean.
A visitation will be on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque. Funeral Service will be at 2:00pm on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the James Crowder Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock, Texas.
