Frank “The Tank” DeHaan
Frank “The Tank” DeHaan died Sunday, May 20, 2018. He leaves his loving wife of 57 years, Rosemary (Dover) DeHaan; his son, Curtis DeHaan and his wife Maria Teresa (Acosta) DeHaan; his daughter, Lisa (DeHaan) Breaux; three grandchildren; and his sister, Vivienne (DeHaan) Weisman.
Born in London, England, the son of Harry and Faye (Gilbert) DeHaan. His family emigrated to the United States when Frank was 16 years of age.
At 17 he joined the USAF and proudly served for 14 years. While stationed in England, he met his wife, Rosemary Dover on a blind date. They were married and two years later were assigned back to the U.S. After serving in the Air Force, he worked in telecommunications for GTE. He also enjoyed a side interest with video arcade maintenance for Putt-Putt.
Frank had a passion for animals and was devoted to his three rescues. His second passion was cars, and he spent hours restoring them to their original 50’s condition. He enjoyed working in his garden and helping friends and neighbors whenever he could.

All our love to Rosemary, Lisa, Rachel, Nik, Curtis, Vivienne and the rest of the family.
Frank was truly one of a kind; he certainly knew something about everything, strong willed (putting it mildly) but soft hearted and totally devoted to his family. Thank you Frank, I will miss you indeed.
