Frank D. Collora
Native Houstonian Frank D. Collora, 65 lost his 8 year battle with cancer on Nov 2. Frank lived life to the fullest and made many friends along the way, including the many animals that he rescued and cared for. Frank is survived by his daughter Kaitlen Marie Collora; life companion Susanna Yanko; sister Connie Collora and her husband Robert; and dearest friends Julie Harvell and Dale Williams. The Family will receive friends on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 2-4:00PM with a Memorial Service at 4:00PM at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 E Main Street (518), League City, Texas 77573.
My sincere condolences to Frank’s family and friends. Frank was a decent man with a great sense of humor. And he loved the simple things in life. He found people interesting and could sit for hours just talking and enjoying each other’s company. He will be missed. And something tells me he’s already found him a puppy to take care of in Heaven.

Frank was my first best friend. We started to surf together in jr high school.
I always thought of him as a good friend and funny as ever. Keep on riding.

I just found out about Frank, hearbroken for sure. We crushed on each other many years ago. We were in Jr. High. Anyway he was such a sweet boy. He always smelled so good, wore the best cologne. We lost touch when I moved to Galveston. I’m so sorry to hear this awful news.

Kaitlen, I was a friend of your grandmother, Ollie. We carpooled to work every day. I lived on Creekbend Street. She worked at Houston National bank and I worked at Tenneco. We were very good friends. I knew your dad and your Uncle Joseph and your Aunt Connie. Your Dad was a teenager then and I am pleased to learn that he had a family and lived and cared for animals.
Hi Carol,
Thank you for sharing! It is very neat to hear that you were friends with my grandmother. She passed away when I was just a baby so I never had the pleasure of really knowing her but I have heard stories. 🙂
