Our heartfelt condolences go out to the sons, Adrian and Arie-Jan Blok, grandson Brice Blok, and daughter-in-law Linda Marie Blok of the passing of your mom, and grandmother, Evelyn Fay Sharpless Blok.

She was born October 10, 1945. Fay, as she was known around Chinquapin, was the daughter of the late Mary and Castilla Sharpless, Sr. and granddaughter of the late Bertha and Oscar Sharpless, Sr.

In addition, Fay is survived by her: siblings, “Jimmy” Castilla Sharpless, Jr. and Cecilia Sharpless, Henry and Florita Sharpless, and Brenda K. Sharpless; niece Samantha Sharpless; nephews, Paul Sharpless, Henry and Loretta Sharpless, Jr., and “Tre” Samuel Castilla and Christen Sharpless, III (and children).

Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family in care of Crowder Funeral Home, 111 E. Medical Center Blvd., Webster, TX 77598.

A Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Crowder Funeral Home in Webster, with a Service to follow at 11:30 a.m.

Interment will take place after the service at 2:00 p.m. at the Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX  77038.
