Etrulia “Boots” Frances Wingard
Etrulia “Boots” Frances Wingard, 82, of Texas City passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Mainland Medical Center. She was born March 30, 1932 to Robert and Lucille Duncan in Anderson, South Carolina.
She was a lifelong resident of Texas City and a member of First United Methodist Church of Texas City.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arnold Wingard, and her daughter Karen Wingard Bradshaw.
She is survived by her son John Wingard; granddaughter Jennifer Dawn Bradshaw, Aunt Rachel Popavoch and also special friends James and Patricia Gibbins, Courtney Best and Daryl and Tammy Stewart.
A visitation will be on Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque. A Graveside service will be at 2:00pm on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas with Rev Jeremy Wester officiating.

My sincerest condolences on the loss of your Granny, (My cousin Boots Duncan). I just found her obituary while attempting to find your Phone number so we could re-establish contact. I have been very ill for quite some time and unable to keep up with my family geneology research and on January 10th, Past, I lost my wife of 66 years whom I loved more than life itself and miss more than words can say. I will now also be mourning the loss of my cousin/your Granny and i sincerely offer my sympathy and prayers for you and her.
