Ernestina, affectionately referred to as Tina, residing in League City, passed away on Sunday July 28, 2024 at the age of 98. Tina was born on October 16, 1926 in Ocotlan, Mexico to Leonardo and Candelaria Gonzalez.

Tina was an exceptional hardworking woman who was completely dedicated to her family. She was very religious and very active in our church. One of her biggest joy was to visit patients at a local hospital, pray with them and give them comunion.

Tina loved to cook and prepare all kinds of delicious meals which we enjoyed eating every Sunday and other holidays.

Her father died while Tina was a little girl and she was raised by her mom together with 2 siblings: Guadalupe and Antonio. Candelaria, whom we lovingly called Mama Lala had a long beautiful life. She passed away at the age of 88.

Tina is survived by her loving husband Oscar with whom she was married for 68 years. She is survived by 2 grown married adults, a daughter in law, 5 grandchildren and 10 great grand children.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 10am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 1612 East Walker, League City, Texas 77573 with Father John Rooney presiding.
