Elmer Edmund Alley, 83, a resident of Santa Fe, Texas passed from this life on Friday, December 1, 2017, surrounded by his family. He was born in Frio County, Texas on October 20, 1934, to parents Bernie and Julia Alley.

Elmer’s career was with the propane industry. He was a member of Dayspring Church.

Elmer is preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Elwanda Louise Alley, son Richard Alley and wife Sarah, sister JoAnn McKinnerney and husband James, brother Charles Alley and wife Fay, six grandchildren,  Tammy Bonner, Toni Harrison, Tracy Milina, Wayne Alley, Leslie Alley, and Phillip Alley, as well as five great-grandchildren, Kindle Bonnet, Emma Milina, Sarah Milina, Aaron Alley and Jonathan Alley.

In Elmer’s honor, a memorial service will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017, at Dayspring Church in Santa Fe, Texas at 10:00 am officiated by Pastor Brad Drake under the direction of Crowder Funeral Home, Dickinson, TX.
