Elizabeth Deats Jones, 77, of Dickinson, passed away on May 2, 2014. She was born December 8, 1936 to Marlynn Dixon, and adopted by Cleo Dixon Deats and George Deats. She was married to William Jones of Jacksonville, Texas for 51 years. 

Elizabeth was preceded in death by both of her mothers, her father, and her husband.  She is survived by her children Rebecca Hunter, Bryan Jones (Tammy), Lisa Billingsley, and guardian daughter Kathryn Cress; her grandchildren Michael, Forrest, Jason, Justin, Alyssa, Amanda, Nicholas, Ashlyn, Cody, and Joshua; and great-grandchildren. 

A memorial service will be held at Crowder Funeral Home on June 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.
