Dr. Hope D. Moser

 

Dr. Hope D. Moser, 46, of League City, TX entered into eternal rest on June 8, 2019 with her loving family by her side. Hope was born April 16, 1973 in Aliquippa, PA.  She was a graduate of Western Beaver H.S. 1991. Hope began her nursing profession at Sewickley Valley Nursing School in 1993.  She continued to pursue her education at the University of Pittsburgh earning a Dual Master’s of Science in Adult and Women’s Health Practitioner Programs.  At Robert Morris University, she obtained her Doctorate of Nursing Practice Advanced Practice Nursing.  Hope was employed at Methodist Hospital, Houston as an Adult Nurse Practitioner.  AGACNP, Post-Masters, Grand Canyon University.  Professor of Nursing at Purdue University Global.  Advanced Practice Nurse, Memorial Hermann Healthcare System, University of Texas Houston Stroke Team.  DNP at UT Health Science Service, Assistant Professor Clinical Nursing at UT School of Nursing. Adjunct Clinical Faculty at Texas Women’s University, Houston. Dr. Moser leaves behind her beautiful daughters, Molly Elizabeth and Macey Rose Moser.  Her parents, Jerry and Linda Wells, of Ohio.  Hope’s ex-husband and friend, Matthew Moser of League City. And her faithful companion, Walter Cronkite Moser, beloved rescue. Preceding her are her Grandparents, Mack and Shirley Pruszenski and Ralph and Mable Wells.  Hope’s beautiful sister, Joy Lyn and a niece, Amanda Moser. Hope is survived by a brother, Jeffrey (Susan) Wells, PA. A sister Lori (Mike) Coukart, OH. Nieces, Cassady, McKenna, Nicole, Melissa and Courtney.  Nephews, Ethan, Evan and her precious Mikey. Numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins. The love and compassion from holding our hearts and our hands extended by Doc MoHo’s colleagues at Memorial Hermann and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, you all are exceptional.  The many friends Supporting us, you all have kind souls.  We appreciate you and we have been Blessed by you. A heartfelt Thank You to A*Med Hospice for your excellent care. At this time, the family request no floral memorials.  Since Dr. Moser’s passion was her Stroke Unit. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Stroke Association. Arrangements are being handled by Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main St., League City, TX 77573. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Bay Area Church, 4800 West Main St., League City, TX  77573 with Pastor Zachary McMillon officiating. A luncheon will be provided directly after the service.

  5. To Macey and Molly~ What an amazing women you have for a mom:) I’m a former student of Dr Hope and am beyond blessed to call her my mentor and hero. If I can accomplish half of what your mom has done in a lifetime it would be my hearts desire.It is a sad loss for everyone that loves and misses this kind and wonderful soul. During my own struggles she was ever present as a guide and support, all while she battled bravely and forged ahead. My deepest condolences , my highest admiration and God bless you all.
