Dorothy (Dottie) Neal Hitson, 89, a resident of Dickinson, TX, passed away on July 21, 2022 in Webster, TX. She was born on January 4, 1933 in Houston, TX.

She reunites with her parents, John and Maud Hitson, SR.; sister, Betty H. Templeton; and brother, Johnny C. Hitson.

Dottie leaves behind her niece, Cathy Cram; nephews: Kent Cox, Kirk Cox, Chris Cox; and numerous grand nieces and nephews.

She also leaves behind long time family friend and special caregiver, Bonnie Keith and husband Jim.

Dottie was loved by all and was surrounded by those who cared for her through the years. Music was one of Dottie’s greatest joys and would sing most anytime she heard a song she liked. Dottie played piano and sang to her favorite hymns and songs growing up and loved songs by Elvis and Patsy Cline to name a few.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Betty, and Debbie who were so caring and special to Dottie at the Regency.

Family will receive friends at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 31,  2022 with a memorial service to begin at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of Crowder Funeral home in Pearland, TX.

There will be a burial of ashes at Brookside Cemetery.
