Dorothy Davis Lohn passed peacefully Sunday February 2, 2014 at the age of 88 in Texas City. Raised in Gainesville, Dorothy was born July 16, 1925 to Marvin and Agnes Whaley Davis. Dorothy graduated from SMU in 1946 with a degree in nursing. She was proud to serve others as a registered nurse, member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, past president of the Delta Aimees, and publisher of the New Orleans Oil Directory. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Cecil Eugene Lohn, Sr., and grandson Michael Siebenthal.

Survivors include her three children; Cynthia Siebenthal and husband Jim, Leslie Cruse and husband Ray, and Cecil Eugene (Chuck) Lohn, Jr. ; sister Rosalie Bourque and husband Earnest; five grandchildren Renee Rockers and husband Jeremy, Stephen Cruse and wife Shelby, Matthew Siebenthal, Allison Lohn, and Daniel Lohn; great grandchildren Kade Ray Cruse and Kyle Forrest Cruse.

A memorial service will be held at the Terrace Senior Community in Webster, Texas officiated by Rev. Bob Caperton at 2:00. The family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
