Doris M. Thompson, of League City, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2019 in League City at the age of 94. She was born on August 23, 1925 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to William and Susan Hansel.

Doris loved sailing, tennis, decorating and entertaining. She was a retired secretary although she would have preferred to continue with her passion as a fashion buyer.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Elizabeth Cornelius and Lucille Sloan; her son John Thompson; and her grandson Christopher Flynn.

Doris is survived by her daughter, Nancy Flynn and son-in- law Terry Flynn; grandson Colin Flynn and wife Jackie Oliver Flynn, granddaughter Samantha Flynn, Great Grandson Logan Flynn (all of League City)
Niece Barbara Orth of Santa Barbara, Ca; Nephew Doug Cornelius and Linda of Church Hill Maryland, and Nephew Vaughn and Donna Sloan of Melbourne Florida.

A Memorial Ceremony will be held at 9:30AM on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main, League City, Texas 77573.
