Doris Hatton Neubauer
Doris Hatton Neubauer, 79, a resident of League City, Texas, passed from this life on January 15, 2025 with her children by her side at UTMB in Webster. She was born in Beaumont, Texas on June 27, 1945 to parents, Sammie Hurbert Hatton and Nancy Lou Hatton. She spent most of her childhood in Anahuac, Texas where she graduated in May 1963 and in the following month married the love of her life.
Doris was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She is preceded in death by her parents and great-granddaughter, Lakyn Nichols.
She leaves behind to treasure her memory, her loving husband of 61 years, Maurice Wayne Neubauer; daughter, Dea Anne Neubauer; sons, Wayne Neubauer, Jr. and wife, Julie, Kent Neubauer and wife, Kristal, Jay Neubauer and wife, Lori, and Benjamin Neubauer and wife, Nadya; sisters, Judy Ferguson, Brenda Allen and Selene Whitlock; sixteen grandchildren, Katlyn O’Day, Carlyn Nichols, Tyler Neubauer, Kylie Neubauer, Blake Lehman, Chad Lehman, Justin Neubauer, Branden Neubauer, Makayla Harris, Evan Neubauer, Kade Neubauer, Kole Neubauer, Kenzie Neubauer, Payton Neubauer, Dylan Neubauer, Otto Neubauer and fourteen great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Gary Campbell for his loving care and support.
In her honor, a visitation is scheduled for Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas.

Doris took care of many children, her own and children of others. She never seemed to be “frazzled.” I remember going to get my children one day after school when she had kids playing and several homemade pies cooling. She was amazing.
