Donna Atkins, born on June 8, 1938, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2023, at the age of 85.  Daughter of Paul H. Kemp and Helen E. Kemp, Donna grew up in Shinglehouse, PA and moved to Phoenix, AZ as a young adult where she started her family and developed a love for the American Southwest.  A devoted wife, loving mom, and cherished Nana, Donna spent the last 50 years of her life in Baytown, TX where she touched the hearts of many.

Donna dedicated her career to enriching the lives of the elderly, embodying the values of hard work and passion.  Even as she embraced her own golden years, she continued to spread joy to those around her.  Her family was her greatest joy and source of pride.

Donna is survived by her husband, Thomas Atkins, children Elaine Bauman, husband Thomas and their children, Paul and Thomas; Karyn Swindull, husband William and their children, Angela and Ben; her sister, Diane McCullough and brother, Paul Kemp.

The family expresses deep gratitude to the compassionate staff at The Cottages of Clear Lake for their excellent and devoted care.

The family will gather for a private celebration of Donna’s life, honoring the legacy of a remarkable woman whose love and warmth will be dearly missed.
