Donald Mitchell Turnbough
Donald Mitchell Turnbough was born in Galveston, Texas on June 13, 1951. He grew up in Bacliff, Texas. He dedicated his life to his family and his career. He was a crane operator for Tom-Mac, Inc. for the majority of his adult life. He loved what he did for a living and continued to work as long as he could. He enjoyed watching westerns and sports (although he didn’t have the greatest confidence in his favorite team).
Donald was an incredible father, grandfather, great-grandfather, father-in-law brother and uncle. He was a great provider to his family and always made sure everyone was taken care of and well fed! He is loved by many friends and will be dearly missed by all.
Donald survived by his daughter, Keri Ward and husband Gary, son, Kevin Turnbough and wife Lanai, grandchildren; Marcus and Doraly, Nicole and Carlos, Trever, Kimberly, Adilyn, Levi, Jayden, Katie, and Josiah; great-granddaughter, Kesley Rankin; sister Rosie Galloway and brother Lonnie and Linda Turnbough.
He was extremely proud of his family and his great-granddaughter lit up his face by just the mention of her name. He taught his children and grandchildren a strong work ethic and that family is most important.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Wanda Turnbough, siblings, Irene Ramber, Art Turnbough, Bill Turnbough, Larry Turnbough, Tommy Turnbough, Lilian Riley, Dimple Rothwell, Virginia Woodford, Wanda Redden and June (Sissy) Graham.
Pallbearers will be: Marcus Rankin, Trever Turnbough, Levi Trawick, Carlos Cortes, Ted Ramber, and Jacob Butler
