  1. I am so sorry for you loss. Words can not bring comfort to Donny’s family and friends. But, I hope knowing that there are family and friends sending lots of love and prayers help bring some comfort to all of you.

  3. Don was a true friend and brother to my husband and his brother Pat. They were childhood friends and stayed friend all their lives. We all worked together at Fisons Corp.worked together in our younger years. We would get many phone calls after he moved always checking up on us or at the holidays. When my husband passed Donnie didn’t take it too good. He would call weekly to check on me and the kids. My oldest daughter developed a close relationship with him because she loved hearing the childhood shenanigans he and her dad got into. I hope you are at peace now, Don. I hope you are with Tom, tell him we are ok and we miss him every day. We love you, and will miss you more then you’ll ever know. Thank you for being a good “brother”.

  4. Dear Don,
I never had the pleasure of meeting you. I’m Calvin’s sister, Pam. Your sister Leesa is my sister in law. My brother has told me about you. He told me you were a good guy, that you were funny, that you have a 16 year old son you adored! He’s going to miss you.
I’m so sorry you had to leave at such a young age. Two of my sons are already there. Maybe you can find them.
You have an amazing mother and sister, they already miss you.
I just wanted to pay my respects and to tell you to make sure to visit your family in their dreams. It would mean so much to them! Trust me, I know!
May you Sleep In Heavenly Peace Don!

  5. Uncle Donnie, you will forever be missed and in our hearts here in Santa Barbara, a place you once called home! We are so lucky to have been able to spend all those years with you here making memories on the car lot, and having you contribute to my forever fondness of horror movies by inviting me over for a private showing of The Shining at the ripe old age of about 8! Lol. We will miss your smile, your big bear hugs , your friendship and big heart. Wish we had more time to have made more of those memories but know you will be up there, looking down on all who loved you, and know how much your missed. Rest In Peace Don.. thank you for being in our lives, even if it was taken too soon, It was an honor to be your niece and friend.. we love and miss you xoxoxoxo

  8. I was the kid that moved next-door to Don during our high school days.. We quickly became friends, true friends. I recently found Don on Facebook we quickly picked up where we have left off after all those years ago. I have so many stories of the good times we had together, we were tight back in the day. Drag racing, skiing & doing all those things our folks thought would kill us made us the men we are today. I could always count on my friend and he could always count on me.. I’ll never forget this man! Rest easy my friend, you’ll live in my heart forever..

  9. It’s taken me all this time to finally read all of your heartfelt messages! I thank each of you for being a part of my brothers amazing life. There was never a dull moment with Donnie! He was in my life till the end, having his son and lady friend with him to his last breath while watching football. No, it wasn’t the Pats playing. I adored him as my baby brother and admired him as a man and Dad. He truly was one of a kind! When the entire car lot he was working at upon his death came to his funeral I saw that his generosity and huge heart didn’t only extend to his family and closest friends but to those he worked with. Every employee, their wives and even children came to pay their respects and so many cried. I’ve never been so proud of my brother as I was that day! As most know, my Mom lost her fierce battle with cancer last December 11. Now, Mama and Donnie are together!
I extend much love and respect to you all!
    Leesa, Dons sister
