Diana Lynn Brazil, 69, a resident of Pearland TX, for 33 years, went home to be with the Lord on November 22, 2023, in Houston, TX.  She was born in San Angelo, TX on January 12, 1954.

She reunites with her husband Jesse Brazil; parents: Dorothy DeLong Rice and George William Rice III and sisters: Marian Bracken, and Suellen Tanner; brothers: Ronald “Ronny” DeLong and George “Sonny” William Rice IV.

Diana leaves behind her daughter: Tracy Johnson, husband James, and stepdaughter, Tisa Hirschel; son, Christopher Cawthon, wife Elise; grandchildren: Caleb Johnson, Isaiah Johnson, Esmee Cawthon, Evalyn Cawthon, Emilia Cawthon, and Luke Freund; brother, Robert “Bobby” DeLong, wife Sallie; nieces and nephews: Mandie Zepeda, Andrea Sweet, Jared Sweet, Lacey Freund, husband Eric, and Zoie Casso.

Diana had a benevolent and loving soul, she was a devoted Christian, who loved her family deeply.  She was generous, always encouraging, and kind to all she ever encountered.  Diana enjoyed having her daily coffee, listening and always singing along to her favorite music, and a passionate football fan.  No matter the situation she upheld an uplifted spirit, paired with a witty sense of humor and contagious laugh that delighted everyone’s heart.
